Esther Henderson (violin) and Peter Baylor (guitar) have performed the music of Django Rienhardt in various forms together for around 7 years, but rarely have they performed duo. For this auspicious event Esther and Peter are preparing a few of their favourite tunes by the original guitar/violin duo, Eddie Lang and Joe Venuti, as well as pieces made popular by Django and Stephane Grapelli. Come along to hear the sounds of late 20s, 30s and early 40s swing jazz.

COVID-19 safety at Open Studio and the Victorian Vaccination Mandate.

As per the Public Health Order and the Victorian Vaccination Mandate, all staff, musicians and patrons are required to scan the Open Studio QR code, and show proof of double vaccination status before entry. It is mandatory to wear masks whilst moving through the venue.

Open Studio is compliant to all government COVID-19 regulations and we are unable to refund ticket holders who cannot show proof of full vaccination. Help us keep live music alive!

ABOUT PAY AS YOU FEEL (PAYF) EVENTS

This is a Pay As You Feel event, meaning you get to choose how much you can and want to contribute when booking your ticket.

If the show has not sold out online, walk-ins are welcome and PAYF contributions can be made on the night through the MR YUM QR code on your table or directly at the bar.

All PAYF contributions go toward Open Studio continuing to offer high quality, affordable and accessible live music events.

We pay all musicians playing at our Pay As You Feel events full, guaranteed fees, no matter what donations are made on the night. These contributions go towards our overall costs of putting on PAYF events, and will help us keep these special live music events alive at Open Studio!
