Description

This is a crucial time in history when people are embracing their health in a whole new way. Let us help you to discover just how the body is designed to heal you and give you a life you never knew was possible with fermented foods. We have got the knowledge of fermented food in inheritance from centuries with human development. Kombucha, sauerkraut and fermented veggies are some of the fermented foods that can change your life and your body. In this Trilogy workshop Dr Shakuntla will share her knowledge of gut health and making of kombucha, sauerkraut and fermented (lacto-fermenting) veggies. You will each make a fermented veggie and sauerkraut that you can take with you and that could be your first step towards your wellness.

The head chef of Delhicious café (Australia’s 1st gluten free restaurant), Raman Nakul will share his knowledge about gluten free world and his signature testing plater. At Delhicious we are proud to be Australia's first 100% Gluten Free Restaurant accredited by Coeliac society of Australia to feed all the Coeliacs without worrying about any cross contamination. All our meals are prepared by using gluten free ingredients (lab tested twice for non-gluten) without compromising the flavours.

Highlights of workshop:

1. You will learn techniques to make following items as easily as possible:

  • Traditional Ferments (e.g. sauerkraut)
  • Brined lacto-Ferments (e.g. dilly cucumber and radish)
  • Kombucha (brewing and flavouring)

2. Tasting session: many variety of kombucha, sauerkraut and fermented vegetable

3. A tasting plater from Delhicious menu which will include dip platter, tandoori, couple of curries, rice and chocolate brownie (everyrthing gluten free)

4. Lots of knowledge sharing about new research in gut Microbiota that shows you just why these foods are so effective in eliminating disease and healing the body.

5. Knowledge about gluten intolerance and gluten free food

What will you take home:

  • A jar of cultured vegetables and a Jar of sauerkraut that you will make
  • A starter kit for kombucha making including SCOBY, starter tea and instruction sheet.
  • Lots of knowledge of fermenting and good health

Spend a day learning all about cultured foods and how easy it is to incorporate them into your life. Lots of fermented samples to taste along with Delhicious testing plater.
