Event description

Description

The Waverton area is rich in Cammeraygal history and the Coal Loader site hosts a very special, very large engraving. Join Aboriginal Educator Karen Smith for this fascinating walk.

This guided walk is being held as part of the grand opening of the new, amazing Coal Loader Platform park which is on from 3pm to 9.30pm at the Coal Loader Centre for Sustainability in Waverton. Why not make a day of it and also enjoy great food, wine, live music, guided walks and workshops. Be sure to check out the underground bar and converted Coal Loader tunnels and stay to celebrate Earth Hour at 8.30pm with African drumming and fire dancing! See the full program at www.northsydney.nsw.gov.au/greenevents

Meet at the Information Marquee.
