About this event
About this event
Forest Therapy originates from the Japanese health practice of "shinrin-yoku" (forest bathing) and involves immersing oneself in the sights and sounds of the forest: simply being in the present moment and taking in the atmosphere of the forest. You will be guided by a certified and accredited Nature & Forest Therapy Guide who will facilitate your connection to the forest through a series of sensory activities designed to reignite your connection with nature.
Scientific research shows forest therapy provides many physical and mental benefits including: reduced blood pressure, reduced stress hormone (cortisol) level, reduced anxiety and depression, stronger immune system, improved positive mood state and happiness, improved concentration and better sleep.
