Event description

Description

Guarding the Galilee, presented by award-winning 'The Castle' actor and Sydney resident Michael Caton, is an inspiring documentary charting the fight against the Adani mega coal mine and the potential destruction of the Great Barrier Reef.

Join the Greens and local environment groups for a free film screening, followed by a discussion about what we can do to stop the Adani mine with:

- Lee Rhiannon, Greens Senator for NSW and former Greens MP in the NSW Parliament. Lee's work has led to reforms in key areas like the environment, mining, public education, industrial relations and public transport.

- Phil Bradley from the Parramatta Climate Action Network

- Antony Lewis, Secretary of the Blacktown & District Environment Group

Join us in the upstairs function room of the Max Webber Library. The library is at Flushcombe Rd & Alpha St, Blacktown NSW 2148.
