Event description

Description

Join Guardian Australia for a discussion about hope.

How shall we stare down the challenges of the next decade? Where will we find the hope and solutions required for the 2020s? Join Guardian Australia journalists for an evening of lively discussion about the ideas that might take us into the future.

Guardian editor-in-chief Katharine Viner and Guardian Australia editor Lenore Taylor will be joined by political editor Katharine Murphy, Indigenous affairs editor Lorena Allam and writer David Marr to talk about what could make Australia – and the world – a better place.

Our loveable First Dog on the Moon will be in session with Guardian Australia photographer-at-large Mike Bowers, while culture editor Steph Harmon, lifestyle editor Alyx Gorman and reporter Naaman Zhou talk to opinion editor Bridie Jabour about cultural and lifestyle trends in the 2020s.

Seating is limited. Book now to secure your spot.
