Technical: Ed has worked as building certifier/surveyor for nearly 20 years which includes 6.5 years with Knisco. Projects include International Embassy projects throughout Pacific Islands, Africa & USA - projects Nationally in Australia from shopping centres, hospitals and residential towers to the important toilet blocks in QLD National Parks!
Practical Expertise: Ed has been a senior building certifier and building code consultant on large-scale commercial and residential developments for the past 18 years. As Director, Ed is ultimately responsible for the contract administration, whilst maintaining effective communication between Knisco and the project team. As a building code consultant Ed’s role is to provide advice to the project’s design and construction team in relation to building legislation and technical requirements under various building codes and standards, whilst value adding to ensure the team can meet a reasonable expectation with the project. Ed’s experienced and professional approach provides efficient and value added advice to allow flexibility and innovation in the design and construction of buildings, whilst maintaining a clear focus on the projects team goals, ensuring building code compliance is achieved.
