What is "Growth Talks":

"Growth Talks" is a group hosting monthly talks and presentations for personal growth and development.

How does it work:

At each monthly event, two people will present a speech/presentation to the rest of the group. The talks will be related to personal development in some way. They can be informative, technical, thought-provoking, motivational, inspirational, or any combination of these, as long as the people in the room leave a better or more knowledgeable person than when they came in.

The aim of “Growth Talks” is to help the community to grow together, through listening to the talks and networking with like-minded people. For those that are up for the challenge, it's also an opportunity to present to the group at future events and develop in your public speaking.

The rules:

• No Politics
• No Conspiracy Theories
• No Racism, Sexism, or Homophobia
• No Selling
• No Bad Vibes or Negativity
• No Offensive or Divisive Content
• Attendees must be18+

How will the night run:

• 7pm - Doors Open, Networking
• 7:30pm - First Speaker (20 mins max)
• 7:50pm - Second Speaker (20 mins max)
• 8:10pm - Networking
• 9pm - Close Doors

Where is it:

“The Sunset Terrace” at the Scarboro SLSC. 163 The Esplanade, Scarborough WA 6019. This incredible venue has breathtaking ocean views and is situated right in the main hub of Scarborough Beach.

Why would I bother:

Why would you not? This is a chance to learn new things, to improve yourself, to get inspired, to inspire others, to improve your speaking and communication skills, to expand your network, to be a mentor, and to be mentored, to leverage the knowledge of others, and to grow and develop yourself in all aspects of your life.

Smart casual.
