Growth Pathways: Strategic Volunteer Training and Development
Overview
Each month we will explore volunteer management concepts and issues through the lens of the National Standards for Volunteer Involvement and the International Year of Volunteers for Sustainable Development (IVY 2026).
Investing in volunteer development is investing in your organisation's future. This webinar focuses on creating strategic training and development programs for volunteers, in line with the National Standards. Learn how to identify training needs for your programs and volunteers, design training that meets these needs in a timely manner, and leverage online resources to enhance volunteer skills and knowledge.
By providing quality training and development opportunities, you empower volunteers to take on greater responsibilities, improve their effectiveness, and ultimately contribute more significantly to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
