This workshop will teach you simple and cost-effective ways to become more visible online and attract new customers using your website and a range of Google tools including My Business, Analytics and Adwords.
- Google My Business - Learn how to utilise Google My Business's free business listing and start reaching new customers (even without a website);
- Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) – Discover simple tools and techniques to rank higher on Google including keyword research, content optimisation and link building;
- Google Analytics – Learn how to track, measure, report and improve your website’s traffic and engagement with visitors; and
- Google Adwords – Develop pay-per-click campaigns to advertise your business and attract customers with the products/services they’re searching for. Also learn how to prepare compelling content and only pay for advertising when you get a result.

Tim Cox is the owner and director of the digital marketing business, Tecset. They offer websites, social media marketing, Google advertising and eCommerce solutions; combining them all into one managed service for small businesses. The Tecset team has 33 years combined experience in IT and online marketing and is based locally in Newcastle CBD.
