Event description
Grow native plants for Glenthorne with the Glenthorne Action Team

About this Event

Come along to a plant propagation workshop run by Trees for Life where you’ll learn how to grow native species from scratch and care for them.

You’ll take home a plant to look after during the warmer months and will be invited to return to plant it across the Glenthorne precinct during planting season next year.

The Glenthorne rangers will also host a talk and morning tea will be provided.

Please bring:

  • a hat
  • sunscreen
  • bottle of water
  • gloves
  • a chair
  • and wear a long-sleeved shirt, pants and sturdy shoes.

This is a great chance to contribute towards the creation of Glenthorne, get to know people in the local community over a coffee and cake afterwards and learn basic plant propagation skills.

For more information, please contact Jemma van den Bos on 0434 894 840 or Jemma.Vandenbos@sa.gov.au

When: 1 December from 9.30 am – 12.30 pm

Where: Glenthorne Ranger Station, 2 Majors Road O’Halloran Hill.
