Grossmann & Brough House Timed Entry
The National Trust’s Grossmann & Brough House is re-opening on Sunday 8 November following COVID-19 closures.
The beautiful Grossmann House will be reopened with its fully restored interior of the 1870 Victorian era and glorious heritage rose garden. Although the enforced COVID closure cut short our Georgian Glass display earlier this year, we are still able to show off the magnificent pieces of Georgian glassware from the Dean Havelberg-Smith collection which was bequeathed to the National Trust of NSW. The collection is evocatively displayed in two of our lower rooms at Grossmann House set within the Victorian decorated Drawing Room and Morning Room.
Neighbouring Brough House, the twin building to Grossmann House, is also open with a display of local sporting history “Winning isn’t Everything” for a small (at the door) entrance fee of $5.00 for adults. This display has been put together by the Maitland Regional Museum and Museum of Clothing.
Last entry is at 2pm for 3pm closing. Session times are as follows:
10.30am – 11.30am
11.30am – 12.30pm
1.00pm – 2.00pm
2.00pm – 3.00pm
