Grit Mindset | Leadership Conversations for individual contributors
Overview
This conversation is for individual contributors
Individual contributors are people not yet in traditional leadership positions who make a direct and immediate difference to the agency. The work is largely operational, often at the frontline and in a defined area of responsibility with personal accountability for delivering excellence.
Grit Mindset : Harnessing passion and perseverance for high performance
What do passion, perseverance, effort and stamina have in common? They’re the key ingredients for enhanced professional performance. In modern workplaces, there’s increasing evidence that there is more to career success than ‘brains’ or talent.
Due to the overwhelming interest when we first ran this workshop, we're bringing it back! In this interactive webinar:
- discuss the importance of a grit mindset in today's modern workplace
- explore the personality traits, cognitive capabilitites and behaviours that support a grit mindset
- reflect on your leadership style and consider the areas of your work that would benefit from a grit mindset
- integrate actionable grit tools into your leadership toolbox to drive personal high performance.
This conversation is a focus for those in the Personal Leadership context and supports development in the following expected behaviours set out in Leadership Expectations:
- Build capability
- Lead collectively
- Deliver on high leverage areas
