In this live, online webinar you'll learn about what to expect when grieving the death of a parent and strategies to help you cope.

    Are you wondering if what you're thinking or feeling is normal?

    Do you want to learn strategies to help you understand and manage your grief?

    Are you concerned about how your partner, child or other family members are grieving?

In this session we will discuss:

  • the unique challenges experienced after the death of a parent (at any age)
  • impacts on family relationships
  • strategies to cope in the first few months and in the years to come

There will be a live question and answer session.

This session is suitable for:

  • people experiencing grief and bereavement following the death of a parent
  • anyone supporting someone who is grieving the death of a parent

This session will be recorded and made available for you to view after the event.

Can family and friends watch the session with me?

You are welcome to watch this session with as many members of your household as you would like. You do NOT have to buy additional tickets for each person who's watching on the same device. Please feel welcome to forward this email to friends or family who don't live with you so they can register for their own ticket.

Organiser of Grieving the Death of a Parent

Wendy Liu and Nathan MacArthur are specialist grief counsellors based in Sydney, Australia. Between them they have over 30 years of experience in grief counselling. They offer information sessions for people experiencing bereavement so they have access to clear information about grief and can learn strategies to help them cope.  In addition, they  provide training sessions for professionals to build their skills, knowledge and confidence in providing support to those who are grieving.

Some information sessions are presented jointly by Wendy and Nathan. Others are presented individually by Wendy or Nathan. Please check the presenter(s) listed for each event.
