Drought proof your garden with greywater, its simpler than you think and a great way to look after your garden.

About this event

Have you installed a tank and greywater system and want to make the most of it? Or keen to find out if it will work for you? Greywater reuse can save water and provide a drought proof water supply for your garden.

The workshop will:

- provide advice on when and how best to reuse greywater and compare this to other options such as rainwater tanks

- discuss what different technologies that can be used for greywater

- provide an outline of different costs for greywater reuse and options for different budgets

- discuss the legal and approval requirements for greywater reuse

Your host David Knights is an environmental engineer with extensive experience in water sensitive urban design and integrated water cycle management. He has developed Integrated Water Cycle Management Strategies and Water Sensitive Urban Design Strategies for various clients both internationally and throughout Australia. He has been involved in all levels of Integrated Water Cycle Management from concept design to construction and from wastewater treatment and reuse to stormwater treatment and reuse.
