Greywater for food gardeners
Event Information
About this Event
Greywater will be an increasingly important resource as our climate becomes hotter and drier. Water that has been used in your shower or laundry can be safely used to irrigate food gardens as long as simple safety guidelines are followed. This info session will look at examples of inexpensive, low-tech greywater systems to drought proof your garden.
Please note that this is an event for Melbourne gardeners only. Gardening is very context specific and we will not be taking questions relating to other areas. If you live outside Melbourne, please contact your council to find out what free sustainable gardening events are available locally.
The online workshop will commence at 6:30pm sharp but we'll be online from 6:15pm for basic tech support and to enjoy a chat about how our gardens are growing.
This My Smart Garden event is organised by Hobsons Bay City Council.
