About Gretta Ziller
Gretta Ziller’s sound may bear the hallmarks of classic Americana music but its essence is far more diverse. The Melbourne songstress’ roots span jazz, blues, rock, pop and classical, that eclecticism is reflected in her songwriting & performances. Her 2017 debut album ‘Queen of Boomtown’ received critical acclaim which included Golden Guitar Nominations.
Gretta has spent the past 2 years keeping herself busy with an Australian Independent Radio Mentorship and her participation in the Global Music Match Program. Her sophomore album ‘Judas Tree' has gained Gretta her second nomination for the Australian Music Prize, and a 3rd finalist place in the APRA Professional Development award.
2022 sees Gretta touring again, this includes supporting Ian Moss & Troy Cassar-Daley on their ‘Together Alone’ tour.
Gretta is also set to release new music in 2022!
About Eastbound Buzz
Renowned for their “reliably rousing working class indie rock” (Dave Ruby Howe, triple j) and their electric, commanding live performances, Eastbound Buzz are a Melbourne-via-Wagga five-piece that have developed a reputation as a band to watch. Since 2020, the Americana-tinged rockers have been selected for inclusion in the BIGSOUND lineup, filled increasingly large venues in their adopted hometown of Melbourne, and supported the likes of Ash Grunwald, Shannen James and Nathan Cavaleri up and down Australia’s East Coast.
After generating significant excitement with the release of their debut EP ‘Opportunity Shop’, Eastbound Buzz have built momentum with a series of singles that received national airplay and kept audiences coming back for more, culminating in their 2021 single ‘Drag’ - a powerful, uplifting anthem “grand and sweeping and as honest as the day’s long” (Declan Byrne, triple j). Since then, the band has been hard at work on new music that may be their best to date, bringing Eastbound Buzz into new sonic territory while maintaining the timeless, evocative songwriting style that has endeared the band to a growing fanbase. With new releases on the way and plans to perform for audiences far and wide, Eastbound Buzz are showing no signs of slowing down in 2022.
