About this event

How are the City of Perth’s parks and gardens kept so green all year?

Join us on World Water Day to learn how the City of Perth keeps its parks and gardens green in a water efficient way.

The City of Perth covers 120 hectares of open space including heritage parks, foreshore reserves, pocket parks and other green spaces.

With so much green space, maintenance is carried out every day. The City's water use is based on the latest science and sustainable methods.

Join the City of Perth's Coordinator of Park Operations, Blake Humble, as he explains the maintenance programs and materials that ensure water is not wasted and the City's green spaces always look their best.
