Event description

Description

Historian Leonard Janiszewski and documentary photographer Effy Alexakis will explore the complex and broad involvement of Greek-Australians in Australia’s development over the last two hundred years.

While Greeks played a large part in Australia’s food catering industry they have also been involved in agricultural and pastoral pursuits, mining, sea-related industries, public life and professional fields. Join us to learn more about their fascinating and integral role in the economic development of Australia.
