Description

Greater Sydney livestock owners are invited to a workshop to hear about grazing management for drought resilience in Richmond on 29 April.

Facilitated by farmer and educator Brian Wehlburg, participants will hear about holistic grazing management and how simple strategies can be used to adapt grazing during drought for economic and environmental benefits.

Topics covered will include:

· Feed budgeting

· Preparing a grazing plan for winter

· Ecological monitoring approaches

Graziers are encouraged to bring their grazing plans, monitoring information and questions.

Registrations are essential.

This is a free event is being run by Greater Sydney Local Land Services through funding from the Australian Government’s National Landcare Program.
