About this event

The Eyre Peninsula Landscape Board is looking forward to hosting landholders and community members to learn more about native grass identification and rotational grazing management at this one-day workshop on a property 30km south of Elliston.

Topics include, native grass identification; feed quality of native grasses; summer v winter grasses; and grazing management.

Headlined by native grass specialists Millie Nicholls and Anne Brown, the program will include a paddock walk to identify native grasses grown locally.

Simon Bey from Greening Australia will also be presenting at the workshop.

The day will include an identification session, information on rotational grazing and the opportunity to create a quick ID to local native grasses.

A BBQ and debriefing session will round out the event.
