ADVANCED DIPLOMA OF COSMETIC DERMAL SCIENCE (10510NAT) YR12 and Mature Age Entry
The Advanced Diploma of Cosmetic Dermal Science is the most comprehensive and relevant course of its kind in both Australia and overseas. Developed for beauty therapsts, this government accredited qualification will provide you with the knowledge and hands-on skills to commence work as a fully qualified Dermal Therapist within a cosmetic medical practise, advanced skin clinic or your own practice. Practical skills include: Microdermabrasion; IPL photorejuventaion & hair removal & chemical peels.
GRADUATE DIPLOMA IN COSMETIC NURSING (52709WA)
The Graduate Diploma in Cosmetic Nursing is a postgraduate course developed specifically for Enrolled or Registered Nurses wishing to enter the field of cosmetic medicine. This government accredited qualification will provide students with the knowledge and hands-on skills required to work in a cosmetic medical practice and/or accredited day hospital performing cosmetic nursing, dermal therapies and injectable procedures.
GRADUATE DIPLOMA IN DERMAL THERAPIES Dip BT/Allied Health stream (52707WA)
This qualification was developed from those of a health or beauty background. The objective of the course is to provide students with the knowledge and hands on skills to meet the employment requirements of a modern skin clinic.Graduates may seek employment as a qualified Dermal Therapist, establish their own clinic or add dermal therapy procedures to their current scope of practice.
GRADUATE DIPLOMA IN DERMAL THERAPIES Medical Stream (52707WA)
The Vocational Graduate Certificate in Dermal Therapies (Cosmetic Medical Stream) is the first Nationally Accredited course of its kind in Australia. As vocational course, there is a strong emphasis on the development of practical competencies in a range of cosmetic procedures. Theory-based units encompassing both surgical and non-surgical cosmetic procedures are supported by practical competencies in dermal therapies and cosmetic injectables. Medical practitioners graduate with the skills and knowledge to pursue a career as a Cosmetic Physician whilst providing a supervisory role for non-medical staff.
