Event description

Description

The Department of State Growth is pleased to offer Tasmanian businesses and community groups the opportunity to attend a free masterclass workshop on how to write successful grant applications.

Whether you’re new to grant writing, or you’ve applied for grants in the past, this workshop will help you gain a better understanding of the submission process through practical and interactive activities.

The Department is also offering shorter grant writing information sessions. This masterclass will cover in depth all the material given in those sessions, there is no need to attend both events.

The workshop will cover:

  • the Tasmanian Government’s grant writing handbook
  • how to find grants you’re eligible to apply for
  • what’s involved in putting together an application
  • how to make your application stand out

Please feel free to bring along a grant submission you may have previously written, one you are working on right now, or an idea you would like to progress for the future.

Light refreshments will be available.

Please arrive by 8:45am for a 9:00am start
