To attend this event, you must be residing in Queensland, Australia. You must also be identified as an unpaid carer and be registered with Carer Gateway services. We can also assist with new registrations for eligible participants.

Who is an unpaid carer?

An unpaid carer is someone who provides support or care for a friend, family member or loved one who is frail aged or living with a long-term illness or disability (including mental health). This includes providing emotional or social support to someone living in a care facility.

Join us for a virtual chat and cuppa with fellow grandparents navigating the joys and challenges of caring for your grandkids.

Carer Gateway is pleased to invite you to a 1 hour online Grandparent Carers Social Drop-In.

Carers don’t often get a break from the caring role, even during the holiday period. Claim an hour for yourself and some “me-time” in a supportive online space with peer facilitator Sheila. Bring your cuppa along and sit and enjoy connecting with other carers.

Please note: This event is open to residents living in Queensland, Australia only. Participants must also be registered with Carer Gateway (we can assist with new registrations for eligible participants).
