Join Paul Roos, Rodney Eade & Brad Ottens the evening before the AFL Grand Final for a night of stories from their respective AFL careers.

About this event

Our expert panel of Paul Roos, Rodney Eade & Brad Ottens will preview the AFL Grand Final whilst sharing tales from their careers as players, coaches and in the media. All three of our superstars will be answering questions from the audience throughout the night!

Paul Roos will tell stories from his playing days with Fitzroy and Sydney, whilst sharing his insight on his time as senior coach of the Sydney Swans and Melbourne Football Club from 2002 to 2010 and 2014 to 2016 respectively.

Roos was inducted into the Australian Football Hall of Fame in 2005. He has won many accolades throughout his career: he was named All-Australian seven times; received the league's most valuable player (MVP) award; and represented Victoria on 14 occasions in State of Origin. He is also the AFL/VFL record holder for the number of games played wearing the number 1 jumper – which he wore throughout his 356-game career at both Fitzroy and Sydney.

After finishing as a player, Roos went on to become a successful coach at Sydney, guiding the Swans to the 2005 Premiership, their first in 72 seasons.

Rodney Eade played 259 games throghout his decorated career with Hawthorn and Brisbane, before setting his sights on coaching post retirement.

He is a former coach of the Sydney Swans, the Western Bulldogs and the Gold Coast Football Club. He has, to date, coached 377 games of AFL football. He coached Sydney to a Grand Final appearance.

Brad Ottens was a star at both Richmond and Geelong, playing 245 games of AFL football. Ottens took Mark of the Year in 2006 and is a Premiership player with Geelong.
