Event description

Description

Women’s Health Grampians (WHG) and the Communities of Respect & Equality (CoRE) Alliance invites leaders from businesses, organisations and groups to a dinner focused on how we can all take meaningful action to eradicate violence against women and children in our community.

As the incidence of family violence continues to increase in our region, we all need to consider the roles we can play in preventing violence before it occurs.

This will be an opportunity to hear from key figures with experience in the area who will discuss the leadership role businesses and organisations can have in addressing this complex social problem and contribute to safe, equal and respectful communities for everyone.

Guest speakers include:

- Rosie Batty – Australian of the Year 2015 and Chair of the Victim Survivors’ Advisory

Council for the Victorian Government

- Tim Cartwright, Family Violence Reform Implementation Monitor

- Kashif Bouns, General Manager of the Western Bulldogs Community Foundation

- Stephen Rodis, Human Resources Manager, AME Systems

Seats are limited so we encourage you to book early.

RSVP by Friday 8th June 2018

Includes savoury and dessert canapés and one drink on arrival

We hope you can join us at this exciting event and be part of leading change in our community.
