What are the festival's opening hours?
Can I buy tickets at the gate?Maybe! We urge all patrons to purchase their tickets online for the following reasons:
What is the difference between the General Admission and Tasting tickets?
All Tasting Tickets include a souvenir tasting glass and free wine, beer & cider tastings until 4.00pm daily. Tasting Ticket holders also get free access to the Cloakroom and Winestore service. General Admission tickets do not receive free wine tastings and are ideal for designated drivers. We find many patrons who purchase a General Admission ticket upgrade at the gate for a Wine Lovers ticket.
What about kids tickets?
Kids under five are free. Tickets for kids aged 6 to 17 are priced at $15.00 online or at the gate.
What can/can't I bring to the event?
Pets are strictly not allowed at the festival. Assistance guide dogs are welcome.
Patrons may bring their own table however nothing that is bigger than a card table. Patrons cannot bring a tent, market umbrella or marquee to the festival. However, patrons are encouraged to bring their own folding chair and/or picnic blanket.
Can I get a refund?
GGE does not offer refunds or exchanges because you have changed your mind or as a result of a change in your personal circumstances. GGE will only offer a refund or exchange of a ticket if the event is cancelled, rescheduled or significantly relocated (and you cannot or do not wish to attend the rescheduled or relocated event), or to the extent otherwise required by law (including the Australian Consumer Law).
Grampians Grape Escape is one of Australia's longest running food and wine festivals, showcasing 100+ artisan producers at Halls Gap over the first weekend of May every year.
