Rediscover the majesty of the Grampians National Park and make the journey to the heart of Halls Gap for a festival of regional wine, food and music at Grampians Grape Escape.

Meet the winemaker, learn from the producer, support the family owner and taste the best artisan wine and food on offer in Western Victorian.

Gather your tribe and wander through a village of 120 stalls that will indulge all their senses. From masterclasses to cooking demonstrations, live music and celebrity chefs, plus plenty of free fun for kids of all ages.

With a wine, beer or cider in hand, there’s no better place to celebrate the end of vintage at Grampians Grape Escape.

What are the festival's opening hours?

  • 10.00am to 6.00pm Saturday 5th May 2018
  • 10.00am to 4.30pm Sunday 6th May 2018
  • Tastings from Tasting ticket ends daily at 4.00pm

Can I buy tickets at the gate?

Maybe! We urge all patrons to purchase their tickets online for the following reasons:
  • Only patrons with pre-event tickets are guaranteed a branded polycarbonate stemless tumbler.
  • There will be long queues for walk up ticket sales, especially in the morning.
  • Space is limited and tickets sell fast. Secure your ticket now to avoid disappointment.

What is the difference between the General Admission and Tasting tickets?

All Tasting Tickets include a souvenir tasting polycarbonate stemless tumbler and free wine, beer & cider tastings until 4.00pm daily. Tasting Ticket holders also get free access to the Cloakroom and Winestore service. General Admission tickets do not receive free wine tastings and are ideal for designated drivers. We find many patrons who purchase a General Admission ticket upgrade at the gate for a Tasting ticket.

What about kids tickets?

Kids under five are free. Tickets for kids aged 6 to 17 are priced at $15.00 online or at the gate.

Age Verification:

For students aged 15 - 17 you may be asked to present Student ID at the gate.

Age Verification wristbands will be available from Security/Information Desk where required.

What can/can't I bring to the event?

Pets are strictly not allowed at the festival. Assistance guide dogs are welcome.

Patrons may bring their own table, however, nothing that is bigger than a card table. Patrons cannot bring a tent, market umbrella or marquee to the festival. However, patrons are encouraged to bring their own folding chair and/or picnic blanket.

External food and drink with the exception of water are not permitted and bags may be checked by Security upon arrival.

Tasting Ticket and Bus Package?

We will be in touch after 31st March to confirm the pickup times of your transfer.

Can I get a refund?

GGE does not offer refunds or exchanges because you have changed your mind or as a result of a change in your personal circumstances. GGE will only offer a refund or exchange of a ticket if the event is cancelled, rescheduled or significantly relocated (and you cannot or do not wish to attend the rescheduled or relocated event), or to the extent otherwise required by law (including the Australian Consumer Law).
