What are the festival's opening hours?
- 10.00am to 6.00pm Saturday 6th May 2017
- 9.00am to 4.00pm Sunday 7th May 2017
- Free wine tasting ends daily at 4.00pm
Can I buy tickets at the gate?Maybe! We strongly urge all patrons to purchase their tickets online for the following reasons:
- Only patrons with pre-event tickets are guaranteed a branded tasting glass.
- There will be long queues for walk up ticket sales, especially in the morning.
- Space is limited and tickets are selling fast. Secure your ticket now to avoid disappointment.
What is the difference between the General Admission and Wine Lovers tickets?
All Wine Lover Tickets include a souvenir tasting glass (215ml Viticole Taster) and free wine tasting until 4.00pm daily. General Admission tickets do not provide free wine tasting and are ideal for tea-totalers and designated drivers. We find many patrons who purchase a General Admission ticket upgrade at the gate for a Wine Lovers ticket.
What does a Weekend Wine Lovers ticket with Reserve Seating provide?
Admission to both days of the festival, all of the benefits of the Wine Lovers ticket and access to reserve seating, right in the heart of the Festival Village.
What about kids tickets?
Kids under five are free. Tickets for kids aged 5 to 17 are priced at $15.00 at the gate and you can save between 5% and 10% if you pre purchase online at least one week before the festival. Many of our kids activities are free of charge and others require a gold coin contribution (if run by a local community group).
What can/can't I bring to the event?
Pets are strictly not allowed at the festival.
Patrons may not bring their own table, tent or marquee to the festival. However, patrons are encouraged to bring their own folding chair and/or picnic blanket.
Can I get a refund?
GGE does not offer refunds or exchanges because you have changed your mind or as a result of a change in your personal circumstances. GGE will only offer a refund or exchange of a ticket if the event is cancelled, rescheduled or significantly relocated (and you cannot or do not wish to attend the rescheduled or relocated event), or to the extent otherwise required by law (including the Australian Consumer Law).
