This year, for the first time ever, VCA Art will showcase the work of all our graduating Art students in one spectacular event. Already one of Melbourne’s landmark cultural events, the 2019 VCA Art Exhibition will be bigger and better than ever before – celebrating our undergraduate, Honours and Masters students in one, combined exhibition.
This dynamic and unique show presents works from graduating students working in Drawing and Printmaking, Painting, Photography, Sculpture, as well as those graduating from the Honours program, the Master of Contemporary Art, and the Master of Fine Art.
This new collaborative approach to the show also opens up more of our campus to guests who will have the opportunity to experience the beautiful Stables and Martyn Myer Arena, the Margaret Lawrence Gallery, Art Studios and Space 28 in the adjacent Theatre Building. Our newly opened Linear Park will be activated with food, music and drinks.
This is an unmissable opportunity to experience challenging and brave pieces at the frontier of contemporary practice, and to encounter the future of Australian visual art.
