GPs who have already completed this training could consider attending as a refresher due to current increased mental health presentations.

Cancellation policy

  • Where the course is cancelled by USC’s Thompson Institute due to low registration numbers, participants will be offered an alternate date or a full refund.
  • Registration cancellations will only be accepted in writing via email. Cancellations must be received at least 2 weeks prior to the scheduled course/workshop. Registrants will be offered two options: Transfer the registration to another person (organisers must be notified in writing by email), or receive a refund minus a AUD$60 processing fee.
  • Cancellations received less than 2 weeks but more than 5 days prior to the scheduled course/workshop will receive a 50% refund.
  • Cancellations received less than 5 working days prior to the course/workshop will not be refunded.
  • USC’s Thompson Institute reserves the right to withdraw a registration if the participant is not qualified to attend.
  • We do not compensate attendees for travel cancellation fees in the event the course is cancelled, including for COVID reasons.
  • Full course refunds are available if the course is cancelled due to COVID restrictions.
