The Royal Commission into Victoria’s Mental Health System recommended the establishment of up to 60 Local Adult and Older Adult Mental Health and Wellbeing Services across Victoria.
The new service stream, now known as Mental Health and Wellbeing Locals (Local Services), are an important part of Victoria’s reformed mental health and wellbeing system.
The first 6 Local Services are now open in the local government areas of Benalla-Wangaratta-Mansfield, Brimbank, Frankston, Greater Geelong-Queenscliffe, Latrobe and Whittlesea.
Murray PHN would like to invite you to attend a short forum to:
- Provide an introduction to Benalla-Wangaratta-Mansfield Mental Health and Wellbeing Local staff, model and referral pathways.
- Provide an introduction to the Intake Assessment and Referral (IAR) Decision Support Tool and its use in the referral pathways.
Target audience: General Practitioners located in the Wangaratta LGA
