Event description

Description

Join us for the first of our regional webinar series. Each session will address topics requested in our regional education needs survey which was circulated in April 2019.

Does your patient really need a colonoscopy? In this session we will discuss the current National Bowel Cancer Screening Program and the different pathways for patients with symptomatic presentation compared to those undertaking screening.

Australia currently has no organised population-based screening program for lung cancer due to uncertainty of target population, screening intervals and cost-effectiveness that require further consideration. This webinar will provide an update on the current recommendations and guidelines for lung cancer screening and an insight into the findings from lung cancer screening trials.

Presented by:

Dr Fraser Brims
Consultant Respiratory Physician

Dr Hooi Ee

This education activity will be accredited as part of the RACGP QI&CPD Program.
