Dr Nishath Altaf MB ChB, PhD, FRCS, FRACS (Vascular)

Dr Altaf is a local and internationally trained Vascular and Endovascular Surgeon. His focus is to deliver high quality personalized care to his patients.

After graduating from the University of Manchester in the UK, Dr Altaf attained a PhD in the study of atherosclerotic disease from the University of Nottingham. After a clinical fellowship at Royal Perth Hospital, he obtained a Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS, Edinburgh) and a Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS).

Dr Altaf is the Head of Department, Vascular Surgery at Royal Perth Hospital. He is active in vascular research and teaching. He is also an Associate Professor at Curtin University, a Senior Lecturer at UWA and has published over 40 peer-reviewed papers.

He privately consults at St John of God Midland, Hollywood Private Hospital, St John of God Carine and operates at Royal Perth Hospital, Hollywood Private Hospital, St John of God Subiaco, Mount Hospital and St John of God Midland.

A/Prof Kushwin Rajamani, MBBCh (Hons), FRACP, PhD

A/Prof Kushwin Rajamani is an independent Cardiologist with a sub- specialty training in heart rhythm disorders (Cardiac Electrophysiologist). He is the director of Omni Corde a dedicated centre for managing heart rhythm conditions.

A/Prof Rajamani has an extensive international training background in Europe, Australia and USA. He completed medical school in 2003, obtaining an honours degree from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland then completed his basic and advanced physician training in Cardiology at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Sydney in 2011.

Thereafter he pursued his PhD studies in diabetes and cardiovascular disease at the Heart Research Institute, Sydney. He undertook a year of clinical fellowship in cardiac electrophysiology at Westmead Hospital, Sydney and proceeded to the Cleveland Clinic, USA(ranked #1 in Cardiology, US world news report) to obtain a further 2 years of training in this field.

A/Prof Rajamani has performed more than 2000 ablation procedures, implantation of pacemakers, defibrillators and cardiac resynchronisation therapy devices. He is actively involved in research and publications and recently contributed 3 chapters for an American textbook.
