About this event

The SA Health Mental Health GP Shared Care Liaison group in conjunction with the Adelaide PHN, Country SA PHN, AMP HEaT, Sonder, SAPMEA and the Office of the Chief Psychiatrist will be holding focus groups across the LHNs with the aim: To investigate the educational needs of GPs, Health Professionals, and service providers to more effectively deliver shared mental health care.

The SA Health Mental Health GP Shared Care Liaison Group now invite Regional GPs, WCHN, Regional LHN Mental Health Consultants, Medical Officers, NGOs and Clinicians to a Focus Group.

This focus group aims to:

• facilitate meaningful engagement between mental health clinicians, service providers and GPs

• provide feedback on the Adelaide PHN 2021-2022 needs assessment

• identify issues and opportunities around the challenges in Mental Health /Physical health care

• identify topics for shared educational forums to discuss shared care issues

• identify the group’s preference for learning – what educational format is best?

Session Program:

Registration and networking will commence from 6:45 to 7:00pm

The Focus Group will be run from 7.00pm to 8:30pm.

A certificate of attendance will be provided for attendees to claim CPD points with their CPD authority.
