In other words, over half of the people searching for local businesses are ready to become PAYING CUSTOMERS.

Google My Business is a FREE tool that lets you reach a broad audience through Google Search and Maps. When people search for a particular product or service, having an optimised Google My Business listing can increase the chances of your business appearing in their search results.

Once you have a Google My Business listing, customers can leave reviews and you can post regular updates to keep your listing fresh and drive traffic to your website.

Best of all, Google My Business is now available to businesses who do not operate from a fixed location but deliver their products or services to customers at their location. (Please note – Google My Business listings are currently not available for businesses who operate 100% online.)

In this 2-hour online workshop, Kelly Hody will walk you through how to create or claim your Google My Business listing, how to optimise that listing to grow sales, and how to use the Google insights to better understand your customers.

About Kelly Hody

Kelly has experience in a broad range of roles and industries, having worked for 38 different employers since 1989 (plus another 13 volunteer roles.) She has worked for large global organisations and small family businesses and has experience with products and services as well as for-profit and not-for-profit organisations.

She spent quite a few years working in sales and key account management, before realising that marketing was her true passion. Digital marketing is her jam but along the way she has dabbled in product development, branding, copywriting, advertising, market research, events management and communications.

Kelly also has a few pieces of paper with her name on them in fancy gold lettering. She has an MBA specialising in Marketing, a Bachelor of Business (Business Management), a Diploma in Digital Marketing and a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.

Kelly doesn’t offer one-size-fits-all marketing packages because the businesses she works with tend to be anything but ordinary.
