Description

Web and app developers have the chance with Google Maps to create enormous improvements to process, marketing reach and operations in client organisations. The Google Maps API is easy to code and has a broad range of features that call on Google's unparalleled data resources.

But...

Letting a client down is never fun for anyone and what many developers don't know is the licensing rules around the Premium Plan applications of Google Maps API. On a regular basis NGIS are called in by Google to help clients become compliant when they have a strict deadline to get licensed before domains are blocked. The client needs to buy a licence on the spot, which is rarely budgeted for and the finger is often pointed at the agency who built them the app and didn't mention the licence cost.

The result is a bad taste in the client mouth we all want to avoid!

Learning with your mouth full

NGIS' Marketing and Sales consultant Adam Mullett will present case studies on Google Maps to show the art of the possible and how companies are getting serious value out of using the product. He will also discuss some of the classic pitfalls for compliance that can be easily avoided through knowledge of licensing rules.

FAQs

What sort of people should come to this event?

Anyone who helps clients realise their projects with Google Maps would find the event useful: sales managers, managing directors, creative directors, developers, account managers etc. While NGIS' specialist Google Maps developers will be in the building and available to talk to, the event is non-technical and has a client-facing approach.

Can I bring colleagues to this event?

Yes you can. We encourage you to bring different members of the business along as they will get different things out of the talk. It is required however that they sign up so we know how many to expect on the day for catering and set up purposes. Please register them for the event or email the organisers at info@ngis.com.au.
