Join Aura in this interactive workshop as she shows you how to draw her characters and shares the process of making her picture books, from rough sketches through to final art. Aura demonstrates how she designs characters and makes them expressive, drawing from life and from her imagination. A family event not to be missed!

Aura Parker is a bestselling author and illustrator of children’s picture books, known for joyful stories, playful humour and whimsical watercolour, pencil and pen illustrations. Her latest title, Goodnight, Glow Worms, published by Penguin Random House is the ultimate bedtime book for the very young, about a group of Glow Worms who can’t switch off. Aura shares her enthusiasm for drawing and reading in visual literacy presentations and illustration sessions, encouraging children to be creative and brave.
