About this event

Sporting clubs play a vital role in creating a healthy community. Join the Creating Healthy Sporting Clubs Forum and hear from the Good Sports Team, your fellow sporting clubs, Healthy Options and Racing, Gaming and Liquor. Light refreshments will be provided and time to network and chat.

  • Understand more about the Good Sports program.
  • Learn how to host safe club celebrations.
  • Increase healthy options at your canteen and learn about Healthway funding opportunities with the WA School Canteen Association and East Metropolitan Health Service team.
  • Hear from a Good Sports club and their experiences in the Good Sports program.
  • Hear from the Western Australian Police Force’s Liquor Enforcement Unit and Racing, Gaming and Liquor to gain an understanding of liquor licensing, fines and handling intoxicated patrons.
