The NSW Government has removed the requirement to hold a recreational fishing licence on Gone Fishing Day to encourage new participants to take up the pastime.
We’re also supporting community fishing events and activities being staged by fishing clubs and organisations across NSW on 16 October.
Gone Fishing Day is being supported with funds from the Recreational Fishing Trusts.
