Description

Find fabulous fossils of plants that grew here 250 million years ago. Learn how to identify them with a local Discovery Ranger from NSW Parks and Wildlife Service.


Important participant requirements:

- This event is for Lake Macquarie City residents, others may be waitlisted.

- This event is free, but tickets are required for each participant.

- This event requires a moderate level of fitness.

- Ages 5+, children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

- Wear protective clothing, hat, sunscreen and fully enclosed nonslip shoes that can get wet (no Crocs or thongs).

- Bring a backpack with water and snacks

- Please provide your mobile number so we can SMS you with an event reminder and/or advise of cancellation. This is the only purpose your number will be used for.

Please at Bombala St entrance to Glenrock State Conservation Area (see map below). We will then walk down on the Bombala Street Track to Dudley Beach.
