Gold Coast Parent Information Session
Tue. 8 November 2016, 12:00 pm – 3:00 pm AEST
I am pleased to invite you to a Distance Education Seminar which is to be held on November 8th at Upper Coomera Community Centre.
This Seminar will bring you insight on the reasons why distance education and on-line learning at Australian Christian College – Moreton, one of the largest non-government distance education provider in Australia, continues to be a popular schooling option for many families around Queensland.
The aim of the seminar is to:
provide information on new developments in senior education (students in Years 7/8/9 are strongly encouraged to attend),
review the progress of the new primary and online courses that have been on offer throughout 2016,
highlight the benenfits of online/blended learning and students working in a safe, secure home environment,
motivate other families to consider Distance Education as a schooling choice for their children.
You will have the opportunity to meet myself and other senior staff.
Please ensure your child/children come with something to occupy their time for the duration of the seminar, e.g. a book to read, school work, games, puzzles, toys. An ACC staff member will be there to supervise the children.
Attendees are invited to enjoy a complimentary afternoon tea.
Please invite your friends/family who are interested in distance education to come along and hear about the College.
For further information, please contact the College. I look forward to seeing you there.
