City of Gold Coast and Gold Coast Film Festival invite you to an industry discussion event for the local screen sector on 21st September, 5.30pm – 7.30pm at HOTA, Home of the Arts.
Queensland University of Technology, supported by the City of Gold Coast, has undertaken a research report that profiles the size, shape and capacity of the independent screen sector on the Gold Coast. The “Gold Coast Independent Screen Production” report has now been published and it reveals that the City is a hub for local feature film, commercial and online screen content production.
Local screen industry are invited to join us on Monday 21 September, 5.30pm-7.30pm at HOTA to hear the report’s findings and participate in the discussions around the direction of the sector moving forward.
Speakers will include Mark Ryan (Associate Professor, Queensland University of Technology) and the Film and Television Adviser for City of Gold Coast.
