Description

Going for gold

Sharing best practice is at the heart of the IABC NSW chapter so we’re thrilled to present a showcase of business communication excellence via our NSW Gold Quill winners.

Gold Quill is the most prestigious awards program in our industry and honours the dedication, innovation, excellence and passion of communicators on a global scale.

Our NSW award winners will present their winning entries and then join a Q&A panel about being at the cutting edge of communications and the winning process.

This is a unique opportunity to learn how your local peers and colleagues are leading the globe on strategic communication.

Presentations will include the following award winners:

Rebecca Sleeman, Telstra
Ignite Social Media program

With online networks comprising of millions of Australians, Telstra identified an opportunity for its most credible advocates, its employees, to positively influence the way their network views and connects with Telstra.

Eryn Sullivan and Tom Jeffrey, Transport for NSW
Transport Mode Magazine

Transport for NSW recently relaunched their employee magazine, Transport Mode, to create an engaging print and digital magazine with their people at its heart.

Megan Caulfield (Ogilvy Impact) and Kylie Church (Canon)
a-FUSION – humanising a massive IT change

Canon had no consistent picture of their financials, inventory and operations. The solution was the introduction of a new IT platform but the challenge was getting the workforce to use it as their primary working tool.

Lorie Helliwell, CBA
Digital Communication: One.CBA

In rethinking its existing intranet CBA took an employee first approach, introducing a new employee portal that uses an audience-led approach to communication.

Hear expert tips from an award-winning judge
