GOG's Working Bees return at ANU with support from ANU Thrive and Kambri!

About this event

Join us at the ANU Campus for our fortnightly Working Bees and Community Threads Workshops, thanks to the support of ANU Thrive , Kambri at ANU, the ACT Health Directorate and Hands Across Canberra! These workshops are relaxed and beginners through to advanced stitchers are welcome! We will be working on items to be donated to the Canberra Hospital and Health Service, the Covid testing centres and Vaccination Clinics. Come along and take part in a project that gives, but also gives back to you! :-D

GOG members will be able to drop off Goodies, pick up supplies, connect with other members and hear feedback! Please let Mary know in advance if you need specific materials for a project, but we will have Block of the Month (BOM) yarn and packs for those new members joining us, and for those joining our Community Threads Project!

This event is free to attend for financial members and Community Threads Project participants, and a gold coin donation for non-members. Places are limited to 30, so please reserve a ticket to confirm your attendance.

Please note:

  • Masks are mandatory in rooms on the ANU Campus
  • There is to be no food or drinks consumed in the room
  • This event will be held in Room 2.02 (level 2) in the Marie Reay Teaching Centre

I hope to see you there! :-D
