School Holiday Program — 🧼🐐 Goat’s Milk Soap Making Workshop 🌿✨

Come along for a creative and hands-on holiday workshop where your child will discover the magic of turning fresh goat’s milk into beautiful, nourishing handmade soaps! Using gentle, natural ingredients and simple methods suitable for children, this workshop guides participants through the full soap-making journey — from scent blending to mould pouring — all while learning about the importance of natural skincare and the role goats play on a permaculture farm. 🐐🌸

In this hands-on workshop, children will:

🧼 Learn the basics of soap making — explore what ingredients go into natural soap, how they work together, and why goat’s milk makes soap so gentle and nourishing.

🌸 Create their own scented soap bars — choose from essential oils, botanicals and dried flowers to develop a unique blend.

🌿 Understand natural additives — learn how herbs, clays, flowers, and oils are used to colour and enrich soaps without chemicals.

🐐 Use fresh goat’s milk from our farm — discover why milk from our happy, healthy goats is ideal for skincare and learn how it’s prepared for soap making.

🪵 Pour their soaps into moulds — watch their creations set and take shape, ready to cure at home.

🎨 Decorate their own soap labels — design a personalised wrapper to gift or display their handmade soap.

Along the way, children will learn:

🐐 Why goats’ milk is special — vitamins, moisturising fats, and why it’s gentle for sensitive skin.

🌿 How natural products support sustainability — reducing waste, avoiding harsh chemicals, and choosing local, farm-grown ingredients.

💚 Creative expression, patience, and pride — as they make something truly unique with their own hands.

🐐 Cuddle and feed our friendly farm animals – goats & baby goats , ducks, chickens, bunnies & quails!

Every child will take home:

• Two handmade goat’s milk soap bars they created themselves 🧼🌸

• A personalised soap label they designed 🎨

• Natural skincare knowledge and confidence in making simple, chemical-free products 🌿

• A beautiful sensory experience — scents, textures, creativity, and the joy of making something from farm to home ✨
