Global Goals Jam 2017
To be launched by internationally renowned Prof. Ed Kosior
Rapid prototyping workshop utilising design thinking methods to solve local problems. Using tools developed by MediaLab the two day workshop will work collaboratively in developing solutions to social / environmental problems.
We are seeking committed professionals that can make an impact around the Sustainable Development Goals #11, 12 and 14. Cities, Resources and Oceans. As Melbourne is situated around Port Phillip Bay, it is intended to focus on the City, the Bay and resources.
The #GlobalGoalsJam 2017 is a two and a half day event consisting of short design sprints. Creative teams of designers, developers and Jammers from the local community work together using a tailored toolkit. Together, we will create interventions aimed at short term targets in support of the long term goals.

Lead organisers MediaLAb Amsterdam in conjunction with the UNDP are collaborating for projects from the Jam to be showcased at EDIT: Expo for Design, Innovation & Technology
Please note: A fee of $100 for employed participants and $50 for Un / under employed / students for the 2 1/2 day workshop will be charged. This includes participation in a facilitated group workshop that could potentially influence your city, the city of Melbourne. Friday will include finger food and lunch both weekend days.
Times: Friday 15th 6pm-9pm, Saturday 16th 9am-6pm, Sunday 17th 10am-6pm
