ALL ARE WELCOME- Member's family, your close friends & neighbours.
Wander through church building, enjoy the grounds and the great company of fellow Glebe Society members. As an added bonus the St John’s church organist will provide short recitals and share details of the unique organ features.
Drinks and a selection of individual savoury catering packs (to meet Covid-19 safe catering arrangements) will provided by Kate’s team from Mindful Bakers (previously Café Saint John).

The Society appreciates the hospitality of St John’s Church in opening the Church to celebrate this significant local building and their historic event in Dec 2020.

ABOUT THE EXHIBITION: 150 Year Anniversary of St John’s Church
The exhibition will explore the work of architect Edmund Blacket and his firm’s building works for the parish over a number of years. Blacket designed an earlier church and rectory (now demolished) as well as other buildings nearby in Glebe including his own house Bidura on Glebe Point Road.
Included in the exhibition will be rarely seen Blacket plans of all the St John's buildings and photographs from over the years. The exhibition will also be open on:
Tuesday 8th December 1pm - 4pm Wednesday - Friday 11am - 4pm
Saturday 12th December 10am - 4pm Sunday 13th December 1pm - 4pm
