Join this public meeting to demand that the Glebe Island Bridge be made available for active transport. Its been off-limits for too long!
About this Event
The Glebe Island Bridge has been closed since December 1995 and heritage listed since 2013. The Glebe Society is keen to see the bridge restored and used as a pedestrian/cycleway and become part of a walk/cycleway around Blackwattle and Rozelle Bays. But so far there has been no commitment to doing this. We want the restoration of the bridge as soon as possible.
If you want to help make this happen, join our gathering on 3rd December at the Pyrmont end of Glebe Island Bridge (Bowman St, where the Bridge is fenced off) at 5.30pm.
This is a COVID-safe event, so bring your mask.
