Event description
With the COP 26 climate conference opening on Halloween, should business be afraid – or optimistic?

About this event

For a briefing on the Glasgow conference you are invited to a webinar to join Tennant Reed, a nationally recognised expert and commentator on climate and energy matters and Ai Group’s specialist in-house adviser on public policy issues.

Tennant will look at the big issues you need to know about Glasgow and the implications of what the outcomes of the conference may mean for Australian business. Issues at stake include the call for increased ambition in the emissions reduction targets and actions of all nations; how the next round of targets will work; and finalising rules for nations to cooperate by linking schemes or buying and selling offsets.

As a veteran of previous COPs and spokesman for global business at the Katowice and Madrid summits he will also share some insider knowledge of the conference processes and how we may compare with our international partners.
