Event description

Description

The task of managing effectively involves the ability to tackle difficult conversations, handle conflict and provide possibly unwelcome feedback. Giving challenging feedback provides managers and supervisors with skills to give difficult feedback tactfully to improve the performance of their teams. From active listening skills to clear and direct communication, this workshop will provide you with tools to relate to your staff effectively and improve their performance and efficiency as individual professionals and as a vital part of your team.

Mary Harwood has over 30 years’ experience performing in senior management roles in the public service, conducting high-level negotiations and managing teams, projects and programs. This experience combined allows her to lead an insightful session that will set you up to deal with difficult behaviours from within your team, identify and support strengths and negotiate outcomes to improve your team’s performance as a whole.
